Northpointe's K-5 Dual Immersion project is a remarkable 5-building construction undertaken by the Natomas Unified School District. It involved the use of steel and steel-wood hybrid buildings, and JD2 provided a comprehensive package to XL Construction, comprising structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and metal deck. The project stands out for its unique architectural element of exposed acoustic cellular metal deck installed over wood framing in the classroom buildings.
