The citizenM Los Angeles Downtown, an 11-story, 315-guest room building, was predominantly constructed from prefabricated modular units shipped from abroad. Mortensen enlisted JD2 for the project, and our team came up with an innovative solution to bring the units from 'shipper' status to 'ready to install' status. We designed custom spreader beam assemblies for each unit size and fabricated all the structural steel. We're thrilled to have been part of yet another architecturally groundbreaking project.
