JD2 Health and Safety Program The personal safety and health of each employee of this company is of primary importance. Prevention of occupationally-induced injury or illness will be given precedence over operating productivity. Our objective is a safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum. Practices that support our commitment:
Tony Laraby Fund On March 27, 2006 we had an unfortunate accident on one of our projects in Vacaville, CA. Tony Laraby, a JD2 employee for more than 13 years, was tragically killed during the performance of his work. Tony was only 36 years old and had recently married leaving behind a wife and two young twin girls. In his memory and in conjunction with his wife, Pamela, JD2 Inc. has established two programs in his memory. The Tony Laraby Memorial Relief Fund and the Tony Laraby Memorial Scholarship Fund. The purpose of the Relief Fund is to provide immediate support to families of ironworkers who have been injured. This fund will provide short term money relief for hotel rooms, child care, transportation or any other support needed for the families of injured ironworkers. The Scholarship Fund will recognize high school graduates of ironworkers that have achieved their goals despite difficult challenges and shown perseverance in their success.not necessarily sports or grades or civic contributions.just sticking to it and getting the job done.something Tony took great pride in. Please feel free to contact either John Mayo or myself at 800.564.7876 for more details.
